The City of Burlington’s description, reproduced from its heritage register.

What the status means

On the register but not designated. Listing does not require a heritage permit for alterations, but an owner must give the City 60 days' notice of an intention to demolish or remove a building or structure (Ontario Heritage Act, s. 27(9)).

Whether a specific alteration needs a heritage permit is the City’s call; ask its heritage planning staff before starting work.
