Brant Hills library branch is set to reopen October 15 after an extended closure

Burlington Public Library's Brant Hills Branch, closed since September 8 while the roof and HVAC at Brant Hills Community Centre are replaced, is now planned to reopen on Thursday, October 15. Loans from the branch are due that day.

What's happening

Burlington Public Library says its Brant Hills Branch, at 2255 Brant Street inside Brant Hills Community Centre, is now planned to reopen on Thursday, October 15. The branch has been closed since September 8, book drop included, and the library says the closure was extended because of ongoing construction.

The work replaces the roof and the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system at Brant Hills Community Centre, including the library. As of October 8, the library's locations page lists the branch as closed to October 14.

Loans and programs

  • Due dates for items borrowed from Brant Hills have been extended to Thursday, October 15. Items can also be returned to any other branch.
