Starting November 1, Burlington Transit is adjusting its schedules to improve connections and reliability. Ten routes get new trip times, and Route 25 moves to a 15-minute midday service. A new Ride Guide takes effect the same day.
The details
What is changing
In a notice posted October 19, 2026, the City of Burlington says that starting November 1 Burlington Transit is adjusting all route schedules "to better meet connections and to make them more reliable." The notice names two kinds of change: routes with updated trip times, and one route with more frequent service.
- Routes 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 11, 12, 48, 80 and 81
- Route 25: service every 15 minutes during midday
- Effective November 1, 2026
How to check your trip
The City's notice does not list the new times, so riders need to check them route by route. It points to MyRide, the transit system's online trip tool, and its Bus Times tool, and says riders can download a Ride Guide. The City's Schedules and Routes page marks the current Ride Guide as "effective Nov. 1, 2026", and the guide itself is dated 1 November 2026.
- Check the schedule for your route and stop in MyRide (myride.burlingtontransit.ca) or the Bus Times tool before November 1.
- If you connect to GO Transit or another system, compare the new departure times on both sides of the transfer.
- Questions can go to Burlington Transit at 905-639-0550 or contactbt@burlington.ca, the contacts printed in the Ride Guide.
