Where LN5 applies

Polygons and hectares by the City of Burlington’s planning community outlines, each polygon placed by a point inside it.

Exceptions, holding and other markers

The markers the layer records on LN5 polygons. Their terms are written only in the by-law; each line says where.

Holding provision (13 polygons)
H4 (×6), H2 (×5), H1 (×2)Part 2, s. 2.6: a prefix with the letter (H) and a number in brackets is a holding provision under s. 36 of the Planning Act; Part 8 sets out the conditions for removing it.

What the zone permits

The permitted uses and regulations for LN5 are set out in Part 7, Residential Zones, Residential Zoning By-law 09-2026. BurlingtonIQ does not paraphrase them: an exception, a holding provision or a later amendment can change what applies to one lot. The City of Burlington’s Zoning Clearance Certificate is the City of Burlington’s own answer for a property. The interactive zoning map shows the zone on a single lot.
