O2 zone polygons (By-law 2020)The outline is the City of Burlington boundary.

The 28 smallest polygons are too small to see at this scale and are not drawn; every polygon is counted.

Where O2 applies

Polygons and hectares by the City of Burlington’s planning community outlines, each polygon placed by a point inside it.

Wards: Ward 1 (38), Ward 4 (28), Ward 6 (22), Ward 5 (18), Ward 2 (10), Ward 3 (4).

Exceptions, holding and other markers

The markers the layer records on O2 polygons. Their terms are written only in the by-law; each line says where.

Exception (8 polygons)
196 (×6), 195 & 196, 407Part 1, s. 1.5: a dash and a number after a zone designation (e.g. RH4-10) is an exception number; the special provisions are set out in Part 14, Exceptions to Zone Designations.

What the zone permits

The permitted uses and regulations for O2 are set out in Part 10, Parks and Open Space Zones, Zoning By-law 2020. BurlingtonIQ does not paraphrase them: an exception, a holding provision or a later amendment can change what applies to one lot. The City of Burlington’s Zoning Clearance Certificate is the City of Burlington’s own answer for a property. The interactive zoning map shows the zone on a single lot.
